Soccer Game Preview: Reavis vs. Leyden

Reavis and Leyden are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Rams will be playing at home against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Leyden will be up against a hot Reavis team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Rams' way against Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South on Thursday as they made off with a 7-1 victory. That six-goal margin sets a new team best for Reavis this season.

Meanwhile, Leyden kept a clean sheet against Maine West on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 4-0 win. Leyden haven't had any issues with Maine West recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Reavis' win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Leyden, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Reavis might still be hurting after the 4-1 loss they got from Leyden in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
