Football Game Preview: Island Trees Bulldogs vs. Lynbrook Owls

The Island Trees Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Lynbrook Owls on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Island Trees' offense might be in the hot seat on Saturday considering what happened against Locust Valley on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 28-0 loss at the hands of the Falcons. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Lynbrook and Plainedge meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Owls fell 45-35 to the Red Devils. The Owls haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Island Trees now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lynbrook, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
