Basketball Recap: Freehold Township Comes Up Short

Freehold Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Christian Brothers Academy Colts 68-41. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 269th, while the Colts are ranked 37th).

Freehold Township's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Christian Brothers Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Freehold Township didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 83-71 win against Ranney on the 23rd. Christian Brothers Academy has also already played their next contest (against Marlboro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
