Baseball Recap: Milford Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Milford, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Blum Bobcats on Tuesday by a score of 7-6 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since March 22, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Easton Evans, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. He has become a key player for Milford: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three RBI, but 4-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Gerald Boy, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

The victory got Milford back to even at 6-6. As for Blum, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milford will challenge Covington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Blum, they will face off against Gordon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
