Volleyball Recap: Garrison Comes Up Short

Garrison was the 2-0 winner over Cumberland Academy when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Garrison's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Cumberland Academy, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

Coming up, Garrison will head out to square off against West Rusk at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cumberland Academy, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bishop Gorman at 6:00 p.m. on September 2.
