Baseball Recap: Superior Comes Up Short

Mogollon hit Superior with a four-run fourth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.

Superior's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Mogollon, they pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Superior will challenge Valley Lutheran at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mogollon, they will face off against Ash Fork/Seligman at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
