Volleyball Recap: Basic Makes It Eight in a Row on the Road

Basic had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eldorado Firehawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on April 9th.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Basic took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Blake Bevell, who had five digs and four aces. Those four aces gave him a new career-high.

Basic's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-10. As for Eldorado, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-22 record this season.

Basic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eldorado, they will square off against Bonanza at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
