Soccer Recap: Douglas County Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Douglas County took on Chapel Hill on Friday. The Douglas County Tigers fell just short of the Chapel Hill Panthers by a score of 1-0. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Douglas County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Chapel Hill, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Coming up, Douglas County will take on Druid Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chapel Hill, they will challenge East Coweta at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be East Coweta's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
