Soccer Game Preview: Desert vs. Bishop Union

Desert hasn't had much luck against Bishop Union recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Scorpions will welcome the Broncos at 5:00 p.m. Desert has given up an average of 8.9 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Desert's offense. They came up short against California City on Thursday, falling 11-0.

Meanwhile, Bishop Union waltzed into their match on Tuesday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Roadrunners. It was an even better day for Armando Santana as he scored three goals for his team.

Bishop Union's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Desert, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12-1.

Desert might still be hurting after the 18-1 loss they got from Bishop Union in their previous meeting back in January. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Scorpions were down 16-0.
