Whitman made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,993 from 8,362. The advance stemmed from a 41-24 victory over the Vikings last week.

Whitman's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Vikings feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kevin McGowan has thrown for 868 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Ben Miltenberg has 16 catches for 172 yards. Zac Morton leads the league in rushing with 990 yards.

Whitman's Morton is a mere 10 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Wildcats take on Jim Kuhn's team. Johnson is in third place, while the Vikings are in second place.

Jon Kadi's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 29 points on Kennedy.
