Delta entered their tilt with Gunnison on Tuesday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. They blew past the Cowboys 13-6. Considering the Panthers have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ty Reed and Ripp Lockhart made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Reed struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off nine hits. Meanwhile, Lockhart pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Reed has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. At the plate, Reed went 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Lockhart got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run and one RBI. That's the most hits Reed has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Deacon Shean was incredible, going 4-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jhett Ryan, who went 2-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Delta kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in seven consecutive contests.

Delta pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Gunnison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

Delta wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-0 win against Basalt on the 3rd. As for Gunnison, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-7 victory against Aspen on the 3rd.
