Basketball Game Preview: Plymouth Big Red vs. Crestview Cougars

The Plymouth Big Red will square off against the Crestview Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Plymouth is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on New London with a sharp 73-53 victory on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Big Red have posted since January 13th.

Meanwhile, Crestview put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat South Central 80-49. The score was close at the half, but the Cougars pulled away in the second half with 49 points.

Crestview pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Plymouth, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-4.

Plymouth ended up a good deal behind Crestview in their previous matchup back in February, losing 69-50. Can Plymouth avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
