Baseball Game Preview: San Jacinto Tigers vs. Jurupa Valley Jaguars

The San Jacinto Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Jurupa Valley Jaguars at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.

San Jacinto is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against El Cajon Valley on Thursday as they made off with a 13-0 victory. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Tigers with their most commanding win of the season.

TJ. Langie was incredible, going 2-for-4 with six RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Johnny Bonilla, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

San Jacinto always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Meanwhile, Jurupa Valley and JW North finished up their match with an 8-8 draw on Friday.

San Jacinto is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. Jurupa Valley's tie makes their record 9-5-1 this season.
