Basketball Recap: Madeline Mcgill's Big Game Can't Quite Lead West Liberty-Salem over Anna

West Liberty-Salem's game on Monday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell to the Anna Rockets 36-30. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 300th, while the Rockets are ranked 148th).

West Liberty-Salem's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Anna, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-7.

The future could be bright for both West Liberty-Salem and Anna: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently.
