Basketball Recap: Southwest Learning Center vs. Albuquerque HomeSchool Saints
Southwest Learning Center unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 46-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Albuquerque HomeSchool Saints on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Southwest Learning Center of the 55-52 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March.
Albuquerque HomeSchool's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sam Westfall led the charge by going 6 for 14 on his way to 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Corin Freymiller, who posted ten points.
