Basketball Game Preview: Grand Junction Tigers vs. Palisade Bulldogs

The Grand Junction Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Palisade Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

It was a proper cat-fight when Grand Junction challenged Fruita Monument on Friday. Grand Junction took a hard 53-36 fall against Fruita Monument. The Tigers have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Palisade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 61-47 to Durango.

Grand Junction's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5. As for Palisade, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Grand Junction was able to grind out a solid win over Palisade in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 54-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grand Junction since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
