It's playoff time, and Bingham had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Mountain Ridge Sentinels with a sharp 17-0 win on Wednesday. The Miners might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matchups by eight runs or more this season.
Brecka Larson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Shyann Banasky, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Kava Haiola, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
