Preview: Walker Wolverines vs. Drew Charter        
        
		
            
 The Walker Wolverines will be playing in front of their home fans against Drew Charter at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Walker's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last eight games.
 Last Tuesday, Walker beat Washington 60-53. Given Walker's advantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings  (they are ranked 135th, while Washington is ranked 349th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Walker's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Moustapha Diop, who  dropped  a double-double on 22 points and 14  rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which  Diop has scored at least a third of Walker's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Noah Pederson, who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and 11  rebounds.
 Meanwhile,  even though South Atlanta scored an imposing 60 points on Tuesday, Drew Charter still came out on top. Drew Charter took their   contest against South Atlanta   67-60.
 Walker has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Drew Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.
 Walker beat Drew Charter 59-50  in their previous meeting  back in December of 2023. Does  Walker have another victory up their sleeve, or will Drew Charter turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
