Diego Montes Dazzles in Kennedy Victory
Starting off the list is Kennedy's Diego Montes, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Montes rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 148 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 124 rushing yards.

Van Nuys was led to victory by Carlos Herrera, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Herrera threw for 240 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The win was the third in a row for Van Nuys, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Herrera and Van Nuys will face off against Sylmar at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Luvon Nolen Puts an End to San Fernando's Losing Streak on Friday
San Fernando's three-game losing streak is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Luvon Nolen. Nobody could stop Nolen on Friday as he rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown.
