Baseball Recap: New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Comes Up Short

New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 20-5 to the Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in April of 2017.

New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy will challenge McDonogh 35 at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Roneagles will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy, they will square off against Benjamin Franklin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in the Tigers' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Falcons have been banged up by 11 consecutive losses on the road.
