Softball Recap: Davenport Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Davenport ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top against the Wimberley Texans by a score of 16-13. The win was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on three straight.

Teagan Massey looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, KINLEY Keller was a standout: she went 4-for-6 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February. Ashlynn Kennedy also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.

Davenport lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wimberley didn't launched any home runs.

Davenport's record now sits at 19-7-1. As for Wimberley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-17.

As of now, neither Davenport nor the Texans have any future games scheduled.
