Softball Recap: Stagg Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Stagg's offense. They came up short against the Bear Creek Bruins on Thursday, falling 22-0. The Delta Kings just can't catch a break and have now endured nine losses in a row.

Stagg saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tessa Dimas, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Stagg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Bear Creek, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Stagg is set to challenge their familiar foe Chavez at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bear Creek will take on rival McNair at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
