Plano had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Timber Creek Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since October 1, 2024.

Plano's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maren McCardel, who had 17 assists and five digs. Those 17 assists gave McCardel a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Monica Maxim, who had 12 digs.
