Plano came tearing into Friday's contest with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Timber Creek Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since October 1, 2024.

Plano's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maren McCardel, who had 17 assists and five digs. Those 17 assists gave McCardel a new career-high. Monica Maxim was another key player, getting 12 digs.

Plano's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Timber Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
