Cash Pomeroy and Co. Win 20th in a Row

Marionville picked up their 20th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Cash Pomeroy. Pomeroy wasn't messing around, rushing for 198 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per carry. The match was his fifth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns. His longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards.

Marionville's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Pomeroy and Marionville will welcome Sarcoxie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Guerin Made His Presence Known in Marionville's 36-12 Win

Bryer Guerin was instrumental in extending Marionville's winning streak to 20 on Friday. Nobody could stop Guerin as he rushed for 36 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 165 yards and a touchdown on only 15 passes.

Pierce City had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Guerin it was a similar story. Guerin threw for 162 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 67 yards on only six carries the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in September of 2023.

Nate Hill Delivers Best Performance of Season

On Friday, Miller had to settle for second even though Nate Hill put up the best numbers he has all season. Hill threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a rushing score.

Miller's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-5. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Cardinals dukes it out withSkyline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Caden Calvin Makes It Two for Miller

Unfortunately for Sarcoxie, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Calvin. Calvin rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 35 receiving yards the last time he and the Bears duked it out back in September of 2023.
