Volleyball Recap: Antioch Comes Up Short

Antioch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Richmond-Burton Rockets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sequoits of the 1-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-16.

Antioch's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Richmond-Burton, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Looking ahead, Antioch will head out on the road to face off against Niles North at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Richmond-Burton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodstock at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
