Southern Huntingdon County hadn't done well against Juniata Valley recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Rockets walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hornets. The victory was familiar territory for the Rockets, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-27, 25-23.

Southern Huntingdon County's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Juniata Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Huntingdon County will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Glendale at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Juniata Valley, they will challenge Williamsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
