Basketball Recap: Great Bridge Takes a Loss

Great Bridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the King's Fork Bulldogs, falling 60-28. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 161st, while the Bulldogs are ranked ninth).

Great Bridge's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for King's Fork, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Great Bridge has already played their next match, a 49-30 victory against Oscar Smith on the 18th. As for King's Fork, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 60-36 win against Western Branch on the 18th.
