It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Scituate had no problem doing just that on Friday. They snuck past the Walpole Timberwolves with a 34-28 win. Winning may never get old, but the Sailors sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Scituate's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Walpole, they moved to 5-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Scituate will challenge Duxbury at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sailors will need to watch out since the Dragons have now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests. As for Walpole, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Weymouth at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th.
