Soccer Recap: Oxford Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gadsden City, Oxford was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They skirted past the Boaz Pirates 4-3. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Yellow Jackets as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Oxford's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Boaz, they moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oxford will welcome Shades Valley on Thursday. As for Boaz, they will be playing at home against Cleburne County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
