Basketball Recap: Clio Comes Up Short

Clio lost against Corunna back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Clio Mustangs came up short against the Corunna Cavaliers, falling 46-22.

When it comes to explaining why Clio lost, don't look at Ellie Neuhaus. Despite the final result, she posted eight points and eight boards. That was a full 36.4% of Clio's points, marking the 15th time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Clio dropped their record down to 7-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Corunna, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clio will welcome Owosso at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Corunna, they will face off against Brandon at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
