Soccer Game Preview: Muskogee vs. LaFayette

The Muskogee Roughers will be taking part in a tournament against the LaFayette Ramblers at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Muskogee's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Muskogee's offense. They came up short against Madison Academy on Friday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, LaFayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Harding Academy. That's two games in a row now that LaFayette have lost by exactly two goals.

Harrison Gilstrap and Vlad Plott scored both of LaFayette's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Muskogee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for LaFayette, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
