Softball Recap: North Surry Comes Up Short

North Surry lost against South Stokes back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Greyhounds fell just short of the Sauras by a score of 3-1. That's two games in a row now that the Greyhounds have lost by exactly two runs.

North Surry's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-6. As for South Stokes, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Looking ahead, North Surry will venture away from home to face off against Surry Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Stokes, they will welcome Alleghany at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The Sauras are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
