Soccer Game Preview: Lockhart vs. Del Valle

The Lockhart Lions and the Del Valle Cardinals will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Lockhart managed to keep up with McNeil until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Lions might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Mavericks an easy 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Del Valle unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Manor by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday.
