Baseball Recap: Forest Area Warriors vs. Pellston Hornets

Forest Area extended their losing streak to ten on Monday, dropping them down to 0-10. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pellston Hornets. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

As for Pellston, the victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 3-9. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
