Paw Paw came out on top against Vicksburg on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Red Wolves had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 9-7. This was a revenge game for the Red Wolves: when they faced off against the Bulldogs two weeks ago, they had to take a 5-3 defeat.

Maverick Johnson was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Hayden Criger, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.

Paw Paw has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Vicksburg, the loss snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 16-9-1 record.

Paw Paw does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vicksburg, they will take on Three Rivers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
