Gateway's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They secured a 63-58 W over the Washington Eagles. The Gators' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Washington still got an impressive performance from Korey Abantao, who posted 23 points and five assists. Another player making a difference was Bradley Matsubayashi, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 14 points.

Gateway's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
