Volleyball Recap: Central Davidson's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Central Davidson was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Gray Stone Day on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winston Salem Christian Lions on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

Central Davidson's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9. As for Winston Salem Christian, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Central Davidson is set to square off against their familiar foe A.L. Brown at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Winston Salem Christian will face off against rival East Forsyth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
