Flag Football Recap: Samantha Hernandez and Gay Thome Pace Aurora West College Prep Academy Defense

Aurora West College Prep Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 32-7 to the Rangeview Raiders.

Aurora West College Prep Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Samantha Hernandez and Gay Thome.

Aurora West College Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Rangeview, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Aurora West College Prep Academy will take on Poudre School District at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Stars' defense has only allowed 5.3 points per game this season, so the Spartans' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Rangeview, they will challenge Denver East at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
