Preview: Onaga Buffaloes vs. Troy Trojans
Onaga has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Troy Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Onaga focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Onaga, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 50-36 loss to Valley Heights.
Jackson Kolterman put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Rayce Fisher, who scored four points.
Hanover typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Troy proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 57-44.
Onaga dropped their record down to 1-18 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Troy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.
