Basketball Recap: Lee County Takes a Loss

Lee County was the 49-46 winner over Sumter County when they last played one another back in November, but their luck changed this time around. The Lee County Trojans were dealt a 60-31 defeat at the hands of the Sumter County Panthers on Tuesday. The matchup marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Lee County's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Sumter County, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Lee County will be home for the holidays to greet Colquitt County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Colquitt County will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Lee County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sumter County, they are taking a road trip to face off against Sequoyah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sumter County is facing Sequoyah at the right time seeing as Sequoyah is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
