Softball Recap: Rock Ridge Phoenix vs. Handley Judges
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against John Champe, Rock Ridge was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Handley Judges. The result was nothing new for the Phoenix, who have now won five games by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Sahasra Abbineni was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs and three RBI.
