Valor Christian extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Harper Scott. The Eagles put the hurt on the Lakewood Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday for which the team can thank Scott, who had 12 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Valor Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Lakewood between 15 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-15.

Valor Christian's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Lakewood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Valor Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Thompson Valley on the 31st. Lakewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
