Basketball Recap: Enloe Takes a Loss

Enloe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the East Wake Warriors and fell 52-11.

East Wake found their leader in freshman Kylen Clack, who went 6 for 14 on her way to 13 points and six steals. Clack has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayleigh Woods, who posted four points and four steals.

Enloe's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for East Wake, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Enloe will host Heritage at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Wake, they will take on West Johnston at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. East Wake has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
