Baseball Recap: Prestonsburg Takes a Loss

Prestonsburg lost a heartbreaker to Perry County Central when they met back in March of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Monday. The Prestonsburg Blackcats fell 4-1 to the Perry County Central Commodores. The Blackcats have struggled against the Commodores recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meetings.

Prestonsburg saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Tussey, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double.

Prestonsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Prestonsburg will head out on the road to challenge South Laurel at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Perry County Central, they will welcome Paintsville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
