St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse couldn't beat Pomeroy on Friday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pomeroy. St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse has struggled against Pomeroy recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Chase Harder was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.

St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse's record is now 2-10. As for Pomeroy, they moved to 6-7 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

While St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
