Basketball Recap: Flandreau's Loss Ends Ten-Game Winning Streak at Home

Flandreau entered their match against Clark/Willow Lake on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Flandreau Fliers took a 55-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones. The Fliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cyclones apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Flandreau's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-4. As for Clark/Willow Lake, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Flandreau will take on Deuel at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clark/Willow Lake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Roncalli at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
