Matt Cook posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out five batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
