Baseball Recap: South Oak Cliff Find Success

South Oak Cliff posted their closest win since March 27, 2024 on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lancaster Tigers, sneaking past 6-4. For the Bears, this counts as revenge for the 8-4 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

James Crain III was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (three). Another player making a difference was Isaac Casas, who scored a run and stole a base.

The win got South Oak Cliff back to even at 1-1. As for Lancaster, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-1.
