Softball Recap: Roswell Hornets vs. Lanier Longhorns
Roswell got themselves on the board against Lanier on Thursday, but Lanier never followed suit. Everything went their way against the Lanier Longhorns as they made off with a 9-0 victory. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by seven runs or more this season.
The win (which was Roswell's third in a row) raised their record to 9-3. As for Lanier, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
Roswell will be playing in front of their home fans against Gainesville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lanier, they are taking a road trip to challenge Chattahoochee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
